1971 426 HEMI ROAD RUNNER
The Awesome Hemi Road Runner that you see here is one of the finest examples of a Hemi car in existence today! Not
only is it rare for being one of only 59 Hemi Road Runners built in 1971 but when you take into account all of this
cars documentation, its original factory installed numbers matching drivetrain and its always rust-free body it
becomes a truly special Hemi car!
There were over 11, 070 Hemi powered cars built in an eight year span from 1964 to 1971 and only 397 or 3.5% of them
were '71 models!
There can't possibly be very many 1971 Hemi cars left that still have their original factory installed numbers
matching drivetrain, their original window sticker, original purchase contract, original Broadcast Sheet, original
warranty paper, original skid distance sheet and a complete ownership history and an always rust-free body to boot!
This Fantastic Hemi Road Runner was featured in the May '94 issue of Mopar Collectors Guide as the Finest
Unrestored '71 Hemi Road Runner to Exist!
It was later purchased by a top collector and with only 49, 000 original miles on the clock it was given a high
level restoration using all original NOS parts! This owner sold it to Tim Wellborn in 2004 and I got it in a trade
with Tim 5 years ago.
As you might imagine, this Special Hemi Road Runner has lived a very pampered life and is in near mint condition!
